Genuine Werks, Inc. LLC Scholarship

Established in 2021, this scholarship is created in memory of Christopher Sean James by his former wife, Loanlita Hickman and son, Jonathan James, to provide the opportunity for a deserving student with a passion for automotive technology or carpentry to excel at their craft.
Christopher had a love for anything that involved working with his hands to create or repair something, He began customizing vehicles, especially his own, through audio/light installations and modifications. His dream of owning his own business came true when he established Genuine Werks, Inc. LLC, which provided everything from hand-crafted carpentry work to custom automotive audio/visual designs.
This scholarship will carry on his vision after his passing in April 2021 so that students will be able to build a career in the two areas that he loved for so many years.
