Janice Ann Blum Memorial Endowed Scholarship

Janice (Jan) Ann Blum began teaching at Fayetteville Technical Community College in 1978 as physical science instructor. She started teaching biology in 1984 and continued as an instructor until her retirement in 2006. Jan was a brilliant teacher and taught many of the health care providers, police, morticians and military in and around Cumberland County. She was a remarkable woman involved in local theater, church choirs and the Fayetteville Civic Chorus. She was a graduate of Methodist College and North Carolina State University.

Jan’s 28 years of teaching contributions represent a mark of servanthood and greatness, supporting the foundation of FTCC and its purpose to serve the needs of citizens, the community and the workforce.
