Philip "Peewee" Lee Memorial Scholarship

Philip "Peewee" Lee Memorial Scholarship

Philip “Peewee” Lee was just 29 years old when he passed away in an automobile accident in the early morning of December 28, 2017. He was born May 14, 1988. Peewee was the youngest of five boys. His love for fixing cars started at an early age by helping his dad. Philip was a mechanic by trade, and the owner of PEEWEEBUILT Performance & Auto of Raeford, North Carolina. He was known as the “Honda King” for his love of Hondas. In 2016, he went to Englishtown, NJ to run in the Honda Days Race. It was there that he won the title for the 11.50 Index Champion. While being interviewed, Peewee told the reporter he was just a good old country boy from the 910 with a fast car.
Philip was married to Tiffany and blessed with three children, Annabelle, Mason and Colton. In his free time, you could find him with his children. They enjoyed the dragstrip, horseback riding, camping and motocross. In the words of Peewee, “Bet to the Sky!”
Philip was the most kind-hearted person. He would help anyone at any time of the day or night. This scholarship was started with the hope of helping students who wanted to learn the automotive trade.
