William Lee Hedgepeth, Sr. Endowed Scholarship

FTCC Trustee Bill Hedgepeth, II used Giving Tuesday as an opportunity to donate $15,000 to endow a new scholarship in his father’s honor. He surprised his father with this gift for Christmas.
Both father and son have spent most of their careers working in finance. Bill Hedgepeth, II has worked for more than 30 years as a banker. William Hedgepeth, Sr. is a retired accountant and a Unites States Air Force veteran.
“My father and I have been fortunate to work with some great folks in our careers, " said Bill Hedgepeth, II. “I wanted to give back to the community and honor my father as well as all those who played a part in the success that we experienced during our careers.”
This scholarship is for a student enrolled in the Business program with first preference given to students studying accounting.
