State Employees Credit Union People Helping People Scholarship
This is a two year scholarship for students meeting the following criteria: Student is enrolled in 12 credit hours or more; maintains a minimum GPA of 2.5; has a completed FAFSA on file with Financial Aid; demonstrates leadership, excellence of character, integrity and community involvement.
Scholarship may be used to pay for tuition, books, fees, course supplies and transportation
Preference will be given to students whose parents or guardians and family members are public sector employees (state, local or federal government; public health; public education) who live and work in NC. Recipient MAY NOT be a director, employee or family member of a director or employee of SECU or the SECU Foundation or a family member or a member of the scholarship selection committee.
